Scott Lashley has found a new home.
After entering the NCAA transfer portal on Jan. 17, the Alabama offensive tackle announced he will transfer to Mississippi State for his final year of eligibility at the college level.

Graduating from UA in December, Lashley will be immediately eligible as a redshirt senior.
Lashley was one of the Crimson Tide’s top reserves at tackle this past season and played in eight games (Duke, New Mexico State, South Carolina, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Western Carolina). He earned 58 snaps as the backup right tackle.
A native of West Point, Miss., Lashley was the No. 20 offensive tackle prospect and 201st over recruit in the 2016 cycle, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
Established in October of 2018, the NCAA’s transfer portal now allows collegiate student-athletes to merely enter their name into an online database and wait for collegiate teams to contact them. It is also worth noting that players can withdraw their name from the portal, too.
