COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) – A College Station man considered a person of interest in a homicide investigation was arrested last week after officers found him with illegal narcotics and a stolen handgun.
Ricardo Ramirez was arrested after being found with a gun stolen on the same day as Ashli Stewart’s death in College Station.
That information is detailed in arrest reports filed last week for Ricardo Ramirez, 23, of College Station.
On Thursday, January 16, College Station police said Ramirez was considered a person of interest in the death investigation of Ashli Stewart.
The 20-year-old’s roommate found her deceased inside their apartment in the 1300 block of Harvey Mitchell Parkway in the early afternoon hours of New Year’s Eve.
College Station police say they found Ramirez just before 7:00 p.m. on January 7 at an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and approached him to find out if he was authorized to be on the property….
